An Ideal Collaborative Space...

Hosted at the Catskill Mountain Foundation (CMF) the Orchard Project is resident atop a mountaintop range including both Hunter and Windham mountains within the Catskill National Forest Preserve, approximately two and a half hours from New York City.

For its 2006 Pilot, 2007, 2008 and 2009 seasons, the Orchard Project enjoyed the CMF’s fantastic facilities in the attractive town of Hunter NY.   Each year, we have brought more rooms for housing and work online, and can currently host up to 50 resident artists at once.  Work continues on the renovation of the former Sugar Maples resort, located in Maplecrest, NY on a gorgeous 180 acre property. The Orchard Project hopes to eventually to move its residency to this inspiring campus by 2012.
